About our surveying work
RealTak is a team of survey professionals providing consultancy and field services in offshore and onshore surveying, hydrographic surveys, GIS data capture and processing, land use mapping, engineering surveys and oil and gas engineering.
We specialise in offshore and onshore geophysical and geotechnical surveys, land use mapping, engineering surveys and computer-aided design (CAD). We work on land, in swamp and offshore.
We also provide pre-mobilisation inspection: we inspect offshore survey vessels and their equipment, and we quality-control survey data, so that assets are safe, reliable and ready for deployment before work starts.
Our managerial staff have held key roles in leading oil service companies in Nigeria. Our team includes surveyors, hydrographers, geophysicists, computer specialists, and civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, registered with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) and the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON).

What does a pre-mobilisation inspection cover?
A pre-mobilisation inspection checks that a survey vessel, its equipment and its procedures are fit for the job before mobilisation. RealTak inspects offshore survey vessels and equipment and reviews survey data quality, so problems are found in port rather than on location.

Yes. Survey data QC is one of our services. We review acquisition and processed data against the project specification and report any issues.

Deliverables are agreed at scoping and can include survey reports, charts, CAD drawings, GIS layers and inspection reports.
